Branch 62s travel committee organizes travel for members of this and other SIR branches, their spouses, siblings, children, grandchildren, also to guests and widows of SIR members. Trips may be local, distant or overseas. The trips are frequently cruises and vary from one day up to several weeks.

Romance of the Rhine & Mosel River Cruise
July 6 - 21, 2025
We have lost several potential participants in this proposed cruise and need more interest to keep it as a SIR trip. The cruise begins in Basel, Switzerland and goes down the Rhine and Mosel Rivers from Basel Switzerland to Antwerp. Belgium. It passes by many fine castles, towns and sights such as the Lorelei rock, with stops in Strasbourg. Speyer, Boppard, Bernkastel and Trier (on the Mosel), Cochem, Bonn, Nijmegen, Willemstad, ending in Antwerp, Belgium. Prices (pp. double occupancy) start at $6345 going to $7445 or $7645 for top deck with a balcony. Prices include round-trip air fare from SFO. Single supplement is $895. There is a 4 day pre-trip to Lucerne, Switzerland for $1295/person and a 3 day post-trip to Bruges, Belgium for $995/person available. Discounts are available for early sign-up and early payment. Prices range from $3195 to $3995 pp/dbl. occ. depending on cabin, plus $1100 air from SFO. Single Supplement is $795. Pre-trips are available to Dresden & Berlin ($995) and Warsaw & Krakow ($1095) and a post trip in Budapest ($745).
